Fairly clean hotel in a nice building right by close to the Hurulu Eco Park, Habarana lake and Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa. Beautifully designed rooms in a chalet in the garden available. Marvellous and lovely location for our visit to Dhilip de Alwis just a pleasant stroll away from the venue. Also, in the Nature.

We had an extraordinary stay at Ambasewana Resort. The treehouses were amazing, offering a unique experience in the middle of nature. The open bathroom concept was a highlight, with a private backyard for showering. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Sri Lankan specialties served during the excellent buffet meals. The location was perfect, away from the main street but still easily accessible. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect for nature lovers, as it is situated right in the jungle, away from busy streets. the serene atmosphere is enhanced by its proximity to a little pond, creating a peaceful and tranquil environment. it is close enough to the major tourist attractions, making it a convenient base for exploring the Cultural Triangle. the rooms are comfortable with spacious bathrooms, and the service provided by the welcoming family is exceptional. Guests can indulge in a delicious breakfast, with a variety of Sri Lankan dishes on offer.
The only downside is the lack of a mosquito lamp in the veranda, which can be bothersome during the night.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
